Treasure Chest Promotion 2018 Promotion
- Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
- Entry is open to residents of New South Wales who are 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its traders, employees of traders and their immediate families, agencies and venues/outlets associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
- The Promotion commences at 10:00 AEDT on 01/12/2017 and closes at 14:30 AEDT on 21/01/2018. Entrants will be able to access the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest during the Treasure Chest Promotional Period. The Promotional Period will be held across five (5) days: between 12:00 AEDT and 14:00 AEDT on 17/01/2018, 18/01/2018, and 19/01/2018, and between 11:00 AEDT and 14:30 AEDT on 20/01/2018 and 21/01/2018 (the “Promotional Period”).

- Existing Friends of Paddy’s Members will receive an electronic direct message (EDM) with one (1) voucher and instructions as to how the Member can redeem their key to unlock the treasure chest;
- entrants should present their Voucher at the Promotional Area at Paddy’s Markets Haymarket during the Treasure Chest Promotion to receive a key to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest; and
- entrants must then use the key to attempt to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest at Paddy’s Markets Haymarket. Entrants whose key opens the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest will then be able to choose one (1) envelope containing a prize.
- For your chance to win, for new Friends of Paddy’s Members:
- sign up to become a ‘Friends of Paddy’s’ member between 10:00 AEDT on 01/12/2017 and 23:59 AEDT 17/01/2018 by visiting www.paddysmarket.com.au to access the online entry form, complete your details (name, address, date of birth, telephone number and email address), agree to receive marketing material from Paddy’s Markets, and submit your entry form during the Promotional Period;
- the new Friends of Paddy’s’ members will receive a voucher to redeem a key in their dashboard;
- entrants should present their voucher at the Promotional Area at Paddy’s Markets Haymarket during the Promotional Period to receive a key to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest; and
- entrants must then use the key to attempt to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest at Paddy’s Markets Haymarket. Entrants whose key opens the treasure chest will then be able to choose one (1) envelope containing a prize.
- For existing and new Friends of Paddy’s Members to gain an additional chance of unlocking the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest:
- redeem one (1) Member Offer in the Friends of Paddy’s Members portal from 01/12/2017 until the close of the Promotion;
- present the Member Offer to a stallholder to redeem the offer and receive a voucher to obtain an additional key to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest;
- entrants should present their voucher at the Promotional Area at Paddy’s Markets Haymarket during the Promotional Period to receive a key to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest; and
- entrants must then use the key to attempt to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest at Paddy’s Markets Haymarket. Entrants whose key opens the treasure chest will then be able to choose one (1) envelope containing a prize.

- Any entrant who is found to be creating alias memberships will be automatically disqualified from this Promotion. The Promoter is entitled to use his or her discretion in relation to any and all false memberships.
- Across the Promotional Period the maximum total number of keys to be redeemed is 1,000. Across the Promotional Period the number of winning keys is 250.

Second Chance Game of Skill Promotion
- Any non-winner is invited to take a selfie at the Treasure Chest at Haymarket during the Treasure Chest Promotion to win a $500 gift card to an Australian retail outlet of the prize winners choosing (subject to availability). To enter the game of skill promotion:
- Complete the form on the back of the voucher attached to the key including your full name, email address, mobile telephone number, and social handle;
- Take a selfie at the Treasure Chest at Haymarket;
- Post the photo on Instagram and use the hash tag #paddysmarketshaymarket;
- follow @paddysmarketsflemington and @paddysmarketshaymarket; and
- ensure your profile is public.
- This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner(s). All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on creativity or originality. The best entry, as determined by the judges, will receive a prize.
- Judging will take place at 13:00 EDT on 22/01/2018 at Level 3, Sydney Markets Plaza, Sydney Markets, NSW 2129. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter.
- The prize for the Instagram competition is one (1) $500 gift card to an Australian retail outlet of the prize winners choosing (subject to availability) (RRP $500.00). The Promoter will contact the prize winner to arrange prize fulfilment.
- Total RRP value of all prizes in this promotion = up to $29,635.00.
- All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
- Unclaimed prizes remaining at the close of the Promotional Period will be disposed of by the Promoter in its sole discretion.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury in connection with the conduct of the promotion whether as a result of:
- technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches, technical website malfunctions or glitches; or
- acts or omissions (including negligent acts of omissions) of the Promoter’s servants or agents involved in the conduct of this promotion.
In the event of such problems or conduct, the Promoter may modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion.
- If any prize or any element of a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize or element of a prize of equal or greater value at the Promoter’s sole discretion, subject to any written directions from the relevant authorities. Winners will not be entitled to any additional compensation in the event that the prize or element of a prize has been substituted at equal or greater value.
- All valid claims for prizes will be met notwithstanding that the advertised prize pool has been exceeded. Printing errors or other quality control matters will not be used as the sole basis for refusing to award a prize. All prizes must be redeemed during the Promotional Period.
- The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address and any other information from entrants relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who provides false information, fails to provide information, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or is otherwise involved in any conduct that involves manipulating, interfering or tampering with this promotion or otherwise preventing the conduct of the promotion as intended by the Promoter. In the event of such problems or conduct, then the Promoter may (where necessary with approval from the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion.
- The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of Flight Centre Travel Group Limited trading as Flight Centre (ABN 25 003 377 188) and any other Third Party Prize Suppliers. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner as a result of the conduct of Edge Loyalty Systems Pty Ltd or otherwise as a result of the winner accepting and/or using a prize, except for any loss, damage or injury which is due to the negligence or wilful misconduct of the Promoter or which otherwise cannot be excluded by law.
- Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, image, entries, and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
- Any personal property rights in entries are owned by the Promoter.
