Pacific Promotion Terms and Conditions
- Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
- Entry is open to residents of New South Wales who are 18 years and over. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its agencies and venues/outlets associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
- The Promotion commences at 10:00 AEDT on 04/10/2017 and closes on 14:00 AEDT on 12/11/2017 during the Paddy’s Markets Pacific Promotion. Entrants will be able to access the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest during the Pacific Promotion will be held across four (4) days: between 11:30 AEDT and 14:00 AEDT on 03/11/2017, and 10/11/2017, and between 11:00 AEDT and 14:00 AEDT on 05/11/2017, and 12/11/2017 (the “Promotional Period”).
- For your chance to win, for existing Friends of Paddy’s Members:
- existing Friends of Paddy’s Members will receive an electronic direct message (EDM) with one (1) voucher and instructions as to how the Member can redeem their key to unlock the treasure chest;
- entrants should present their Voucher at the Market Office at Paddy’s Markets Flemington during the Pacific Promotion to receive a key to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest; and
- entrants must then use the key to attempt to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest at Paddy’s Markets Flemington. Entrants whose key opens the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest will then be able to choose one (1) envelope containing a prize.
- For your chance to win, for new Friends of Paddy’s Members:
- sign up to become a ‘Friends of Paddy’s’ member from 10:00 AEDT on 04/10/2017 by visiting www.paddysmarket.com.au to access the online entry form, complete your details (name, address, date of birth, telephone number and email address), agree to receive marketing material from Paddy’s Markets, and submit your entry form during the Promotional Period;
- the new Friends of Paddy’s’ members will receive a voucher to redeem a key in their dashboard;
- entrants should present their voucher at the Market Office at Paddy’s Markets Flemington during the Promotional Period to receive a key to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest; and
- entrants must then use the key to attempt to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest at Paddy’s Markets Flemington. Entrants whose key opens the treasure chest will then be able to choose one (1) envelope containing a prize.
- For existing and new Friends of Paddy’s Members to gain an additional chance of unlocking the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest:
- redeem one (1) Member Offer Friends of Paddy’s Members portal from 09/10/2017 until the close of the Promotion;
- present the Member Offer to a stallholder to redeem the offer and receive a voucher to obtain an additional key to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest;
- entrants should present their voucher at the Market Office at Paddy’s Markets Flemington during the Promotional Period to receive a key to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest; and
- entrants must then use the key to attempt to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest at Paddy’s Markets Flemington. Entrants whose key opens the treasure chest will then be able to choose one (1) envelope containing a prize.
- For existing and new Friends of Paddy’s Members to gain an additional chance of unlocking the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest:
- spend $50 or more in one (1) single transaction to receive a voucher from the stallholder where the purchase was made to obtain an additional key to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest;
- entrants should present their voucher and digital membership card at the Market Office at Paddy’s Markets Flemington during the Promotional Period to receive a key to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest; and
- entrants must then use the key to attempt to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest at Paddy’s Markets Flemington.
- Limit of three (3) keys will be awarded on any one (1) day of the Promotion.
- Any entrant who is found to be creating alias memberships will be automatically disqualified from this Promotion. The Promoter is entitled to use his or her discretion in relation to any and all false memberships.
- On each day of the Pacific Promotion, the maximum total number of keys to be redeemed is 500. On each day of the Pacific Promotion, the number of winning keys is 100. On each day of the Pacific Promotion, each key will have a 1 in 5 chance of winning a prize.
- Prizes consist of either one (1) $1,000 Flight Centre voucher (RRP $1,000.00), one (1) $5 Paddy’s Markets Voucher (RRP $5.00), one (1) $10 Paddy’s Markets Voucher (RRP $10.00), one (1) $50 Paddy’s Markets Voucher (RRP $50.00), one (1) Paddy’s merchandise voucher (RRP up to $30.00), or $5,000 cash in the form of a cheque made out to the prize-winner (RRP $20,000.00). In this Promotion, there will be four (4) $1,000 Flight Centre voucher vouchers, one hundred (100) $5 Paddy’s Markets Vouchers, one hundred (100) $10 Paddy’s Markets Voucher, seventy one (71) $50 Paddy’s Markets Voucher, one hundred and twenty (120) Paddy’s merchandise vouchers, and four (4) cheques of $5,000 made out to the prize-winner.
- Entrants who receive a key will also be able to enter into a subsequent promotion. Each key to unlock the Paddy’s Markets Treasure Chest contains a survey attached. Entrants should:
- fully complete the survey, including full name, email address, mobile contact number, and respond to the survey questions; and
- place the fully completed survey in the specially marked container found at the Market Office at Paddy’s Markets Flemington during the Promotion Period.
- A draw will take place at 13.00 EDT on 13/10/2017 at Level 3, Sydney Markets Plaza, Parramatta Road, Flemington NSW 2129.
- The first (1) valid survey to be drawn will win the prize.
- The prize for the survey competition is one (1) $50 Paddy’s Markets voucher (RRP $50.00).
- Total RRP value of all prizes in this promotion = up to $32,700.00.
- All Ttaxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury in connection with the conduct of the promotion whether as a result of:
- technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches, technical website malfunctions or glitches; or
- acts or omissions (including negligent acts of omissions) of the Promoter’s servants or agents involved in the conduct of this promotion.
In the event of such problems or conduct, the Promoter may modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion.
- If any prize or any element of a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize or element of a prize of equal or greater value at the Promoter’s sole discretion, subject to any written directions from the relevant authorities. Winners will not be entitled to any additional compensation in the event that the prize or element of a prize has been substituted at equal or greater value.
- All valid claims for prizes will be met notwithstanding that the advertised prize pool has been exceeded. Printing errors or other quality control matters will not be used as the sole basis for refusing to award a prize. All prizes must be redeemed during the Promotional Period.
- The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address and any other information from entrants relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who provides false information, fails to provide information, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or is otherwise involved in any conduct that involves manipulating, interfering or tampering with this promotion or otherwise preventing the conduct of the promotion as intended by the Promoter. In the event of such problems or conduct, then the Promoter may (where necessary with approval from the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion.
- The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of Flight Centre Travel Group Limited trading as Flight Centre (ABN 25 003 377 188). The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner as a result of the conduct of Edge Loyalty Systems Pty Ltd or otherwise as a result of the winner accepting and/or using a prize, except for any loss, damage or injury which is due to the negligence or wilful misconduct of the Promoter or which otherwise cannot be excluded by law.
- Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, image, entries, and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
- Any personal property rights in entries are owned by the Promoter. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, including local lottery authorities, for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by contacting the Promoter on 1800 308 388 during office hours.
